Dear fellow student,
A new phase in your life is about to begin, as you were accepted by the university of your choice, the Technische Universität München (TUM). I congratulate you on your admission and extend a warm welcome to you as a new member of this university which proudly carries the title 'Exzellenz-Universität'. I do hope that the expectations you have concerning your studies and your degree will be met or maybe even surpassed. We intend to nurture your talents and provide a sound scientific grounding for your future career. Our aim is to challenge you but also to help and support you.
You will find our courses very demanding, yet on the other hand we offer a large number of support programmes that build on the experience of successful alumni. Not only are we concerned about your professional training, but also about your personal development. We therefore encourage you to take advantage of our varied programme at the Carl von Linde-Akademie.
We would like to make you feel at home at Technische Universität München from the very first day of your studies. For this reason I would like to invite you to the following event:
Enrolment Party
October 17th 2011, 5 p.m.
in Audimax
at Technische Universität München. Whether you are studying in Munich, Garching or Freising-Weihenstephan, we very much hope you will attend this event at our main premises. I would like to welcome you in person in the presence of the deans and deans of studies of our 13 faculties. You will also have the opportunity to find out more about your own course and your university. Moreover, the event will include musical and artistic performances by TUM students. To round off the event, beer will be served from our very own “Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan” - the world’s oldest brewery and the only university brewery in the world.
