Documentation REGISTRATION RENEWAL
Students wishing to continue studies at TUM need to do renew their registration in due time (deadlines are always stated in the student documents) at the beginning of each term.
The standard study contributions for studying at the Technische Universität München (TUM) are € 500,- per semester have to be paid with € 42,- for the student union. The whole amount has to be paid at the enrollment or during registration renewal.
The registration renewal deadline for the summer semester 2012 is February15th 2012. For firstsemester students the registration renewal deadline for the summer semester 2012 is March 15th 2012.
Please transfer the amount of € 542,- or € 42,- (if you got an exemption or are an exchange student) at maturity to our account indicated below.

If you transfer the money from a foreign EU country please send us a copy of the account statement per mail ( financial support ) or fax ( +49 89 289 22809 ).
The current Term Fees, comprising student union fees (amounting to € 42,-), are still payable on top of the general study contributions.
Undergraduates enrolled at the TUM for two parallel courses of study (dual degree program) are required to pay the study contributions once only. Students matriculated simultaneously at two universities, however, have to pay the contributions at both universities.
Students taking teacher training courses (LMU and TUM) pay one set of student contributions only (at the LMU or TUM) in accordance with the provisions set out below:
LMU = Teacher training for high schools/middle schools
LMU = Teacher training for primary schools/secondary modern or special schools
TUM = Teacher training for vocational schools
Students who have already paid their term fee to Ludwig-Maximilian-Universität München due to a double matriculation, need to show or send the respective account statement to: TU-München, Arcisstraße 21, 80333 München in due time for registration and stating the matriculation number of TU-München.
As soon as payment has been recorded by us, your registration renewal is done and your student documents for the next term will be mailed before the beginning of the next semester to the address you have given us.
