What is uni-assist?
- Uni-assist stands for „"University Application Services for International Students"“.
- Uni-assist deals with international applications on behalf of Technische Universität München.
- Uni-assist generates a preliminary inspection documentation of your university entrance qualification. On the preliminary inspection documentation you will see whether you can apply for all subjects (general university entrance qualification) or only for certain subjects (restricted university entrance qualification) and what your German grade equivalent is.
Who has to apply via uni-assist?
- All applicants applying for a bachelor or diploma course, who did not obtain their "Entrance Requirement for Higher Education" in Germany or at a school applying the German regulations for the conduct of an Abitur examination. This procedure also applies for applicants who apply for admission to a higher subject related semester.

- Students from European Schools in Germany: in addition to their qualification certificate, these applicants must submit an attestation from the authority responsible for the acknowledgement of academic qualifications for the federal state of Bavaria with the overall grade achieved and the “attestation on the calculation of the German average grade for the central admissions agency (ZVS).” ( -> further information <- )
- Applicants with AbiBac: together with their qualification certificate, these applicants must submit the “attestation on the achievement of the general qualification for university entrance” to the TUM.
