Letter of admission
Provided your registration or application has reached the TUM in time, you will be sent a letter of admission.
Within your admission letter you can find the date to collect your student documents at TUM. This must be done in person and you need a valied passport.
When collecting your documents you will be handed various student status certificates. These documents also include a special pass for the MVV (Münchner Verkehrsverbund), which enables you to use Munich's public transport services at the reduced rate for students.
Re-registration
Matriculation is only valid for one semester, so it is very important that you re-register for every new term in good time. The deadline for re-registration is given in the above mentioned student papers.
Important note: Forgetting to re-register could lead to your exmatriculation!
