G9, G8: Commencement of course of study 20111 at TUM

TUM twoinone

For gifted students from the last G9- school year, the TUM offers a demanding course of study in 2011. Under the „TUM twoinone“ motto G9- students can, based on their interim report card grades, take an early aptitude test with an additional examination in January 2011. If the aptitude test is passed, students could use the summer months after completion of their High School/ A Levels to prepare to begin university in the fall and can begin directly in the 3rd semester.
Gain: 1 Year.
Subjects offered will be in the fields of Natural Sciences, Secondary School Teaching Post and Business Sciences/Economics. Certain courses of study could only be started in the 2011 summer semester upon selection of an equivalent major course already completed in Secondary School; i.e. a Biology Secondary School teaching post can only be selected if one has a previous biology major from his/her high school.
