General courses for students Carl von Linde-Akademie (section study) offers courses and workshops on cultural and social themes for students (communications & information technology, ethics & responsibility, cultural competence, values & change, innovation & risk, self management, etc.) within the range of elective and optional-compulsory subjects.

Languages The Language Centre offers German as a foreign language, languages and intercultural communication for students (also for staff and alumni subject to seat availability).

Entrepreneurial know-how UnternehmerTUM conducts sponsoring programs, seminars and workshops for students and researchers, designed to impart entrepreneurial know-how.

Südbayerisches Fernstudienzentrum Specific and interdisciplinary (core competences) courses, workshops, lectures and counselling for TUM students and students who would like to study for a degree via a correspondence course with the FernUniversität of Hagen.
