Internships abroad
An internship during or after your studies has to be pre-planned, prepared and organised very well. The preparation should start half a year before the beginning of your planned internship.
Some questions have to be answered first:
- In which country do I want to do my internship?
- In which term does it make sense to do an internship abroad?
- Can I get credits for my internship? (Please note possible guidelines for internships at your department)
- What do I have to consider in general when I plan a stay abroad? (e.g. insurances, language skill, living expenses)
- Which administrative/governmental or legal specifics have to be considered? ( e.g. green card, visa, employment permit)
