Documentation The central TUM learning platform
The centrally operated and maintained TUM learning platform forms the technical basis of elecTUM. Based on relevant evaluations and the complex situation at the TUM, the CLIX Campus learning management system by imc AG was obtained as early as February 2004.
The learning platform has been used in a test run since April 2005 by selected courses at Wissenschaftszentrum Weihenstephan, Carl von Linde-Akademie, in the mathematics and informatics department and the qualification programme ¡communicate!. The conclusions resulting from the test runs served to continuously adapt and enhance the learning platform.
The productive phase started with the 2005/06 winter semester. Since then multiple lecturers benefit from the opportunity to publish learning contents online (additional to classroom training), to manage their courses through the learning platform and enhance them with different media, communication and co-operation methods and a variety of electronic tests and exercises.

A Unified Login is already implemented so you can log in to the learning platform using the login name and password from the myTUM portal. The user data are updated daily with the current LDAP server.
