Documentation elecTUM - Integrated eLearning at the Technische Universität München
New technologies and media have been used for a few years in some areas of lecturing and learning at the Technische Universität München. In order to enable the use of eLearning in all areas of the university, a series of advanced possibilities are desirable. To ensure the transition from a development to a sustainable establishment of eLearning both organisational and technical concepts as well as concepts regarding contents are required.
elecTUM is planning to implement a complex and integrated eLearning concept based on the central TUM learning platform. elecTUM's strategy includes the creation of a consequent learning infrastructure that is integrated into the universal TUM infrastructure and will in the end be an inherent part of the university. An important part of the strategy is the development of a complex support concept that ensures a professional performance of eLearning and the development of high-quality course contents.
