Membership
Doctoral Candidates
Parallel to their own individual research work, all TUM doctoral candidates can join the TUM Graduate School. Doctoral candidates, whose research is being financed by an institution other than TUM, can participate provided the institution concerned makes appropriate funds available to the TUM.
If you wish to become a member of the TUM Graduate School as a TUM doctoral candidate, please get in touch with the Thematic or Faculty Graduate Center relevant to your field of research. Being accepted into the relevant Graduate Center automatically entitles you to membership at the TUM Graduate School. A supervision agreement has to be drawn up and signed, at the lastest six months after joining.
If your Graduate Center has not yet been officially founded (see the full list under Graduate Centers), please contact the TUM Graduate School directly. We look forward to getting to know you and assisting you in every way possible.
Other Members
Once the doctoral candidates are accepted into the TUM Graduate School, their TUM academic mentors automatically become members, too. Professors from other universities may also join upon request, provided they are involved in mentoring TUM doctoral candidates.
