Events program for international doctoral candidates
We offer an extensive events program for all international doctoral candidates, independently of a membership within the TUM Graduate School. It includes excursions, language courses, workshops as well as further networking opportunities and is financially funded by the TUM Graduate School and the DAAD.If you would like to be informed as soon as the events go online, please send an email with the following information to Signe Tuborgh: name, birthdate, nationality, research start and length, faculty / chair and academic supervisor. You will then receive our newsletter with the latest events.

Additionally the TUM Graduate School offers many networking opportunities for you to get to know fellow doctoral candidates at TUM. Also, there are several student tutoring programs available to all interested individuals in Munich, which also offer a wide range of events and excursions:
- TUMi is a TUM student initiative which gives orientation weeks at the beginning of the term and organises regular excursions, get-togethers, parties, cultural outings, etc.
- Aegee Munich is part of an european network with more than 15000 members in over 240 cities. It is open for all subjects and interests.
- Tutoria belongs to the LMU and is funded by the DAAD. It offers events, excursions and a tutorial.
- Mesa is a student association is Munich which guides incoming students.
