University sport and other sports facilities in Munich
The university's sports centre (Zentraler Hochschulsport München/ZHS) provides an economical alternative to the popular gyms. For a small fee you can learn and master a wide range of different sports. Information on the various courses and registration regulations are posted online.

Culture
For a guide to Munich's museums, libraries, theatres, concert halls, literary events and cinema shows, see the Kulturportal Bayern. For more tips on current events, you can also look up the website of the Tourist Information Munich. Furthermore there are many cultural associations and initiatives in Munich that are open to everyone interested. Also very helpful is Munich´s city guide and the information contained in the journal „Facts at your Fingertips“. -
