Temporary or short-term accommodation

If you couldn’t find a suitable accommodation until the start of your stay in Munich or if you want to stay here only for a short time, these options might be best:

Youth hostels: costs are between 15-40 Euros. In general a membership card from DJH is necessary.
Hostels: comparable with youth hostels, but there is no membership of DJH necessary.
Hotels/Guesthouses: rented guest rooms, could be private with prices between 20 and 70 Euros. Note: price fluctuation is caused by booking time and amount of beds in one room.

During the Oktoberfest (22.09.2012 - 07.10.2012) it is almost impossible to find a place in a hostel or guesthouse as they are booked out a long time in advance. During this time prices are approx. twice as high as normal.
