I am studying to become a teacher and I am therefore enrolled at Ludwig Maximilians Universität München and TU München at the same time. Which rules apply for me?
- In this case, the Bavarian Higher Education Act requires that the course fee be paid at the university where most courses are followed.
- The current ruling:
- Teacher training at "Gymnasium" and "Realschule" (higher and intermediate secondary school) -> LMU
- Teacher training at elementary school/lower secondary school and special schools -> LMU
- Teacher training at vocational training colleges -> TUM
- Proof of payment to LMU can be submitted by post, fax, e-mail or in person:
- Screenshot of LMU fee account
- Statement of account and exemption notification from LMU (if exempted at LMU)
