Hwo Can I configure Outlook/Entourage to Access the Exchange Server?
Minimum requirement is an Outlook 2003 (SP 3) or Outlook 2007 client. Mac-Users can use Entourage.
Outlook 2003
You will need the following Information:
- Servername: BALZ00SW-MBX.ads.mwn.de
- URL of the Exchange-Proxyserver: mail.ads.mwn.de
- User name: Your own TUM user name (e.g. mo12tor). You will use it in the form of "ADS\mo12tor".
Outlook 2007
You will need the following Information:
- Your sender address (main e-mail address) (for further information see here. Outlook will perform an outodiscover,
- If your sender address is not in the form @mytum.de or @tum.de respectivly or in case autodiscover does not work, use the informations given for Outlook 2003
- User name: Your own TUM user name (e.g. mo12tor). You will use it in the form of "ADS\mo12tor".
Entourage
You will need the following Information:
- Your sender address (main e-mail address) (for further information see here.
- Your account-ID: Your own TUM user name (e.g. mo12tor). You will use it in the form of "mo12tor".
- Domain: ads.mwn.de
- Exchange-Server: mail.ads.mwn.de/exchange/mo12tor@ads.mwn.de, where you replace "mo12tor" with your own TUM user name.
