I Forgot my Password. What can I do?
First of all: Check whether you have written your passwort correctly. Upper and lower case do matter. Check your keyboard (caps lock activated? wrong language scheme?).
Applicants
Click on the link "Kennwort vergessen" respectivly "Forgot your password" in TUMonline. Enter your private email addresse, you have used for appliction in TUMonline before. Answer the question you created during account creation. If answered correctly, the system will generate and send you a new password by email. You can use this new password to login again. You have to genereate a new password immediatly.
If you cannot remember the right answer, send an email to it-support@tum.de and ask for a new password. We will send it to you.
Students
Please refert to it-support@tum.de. You will get a PIN-Code, to login again and create a new password immediately. This (well, German, but illustrated) document shows the steps neccessary.
Employees and Guests
Please go to the user administrator (Benutzerverwalter) of your organisational unit (char, faculty, ...). She/he will give you a PIN-Code, to login to the system and to create a new password immediately. This (well, German, but illustrated) document shows the steps neccessary.
