Documentation Companies partnering with TUM
TUM works closely with leading companies across the globe. Collaborative development work is a key enabler of social progress and a big success factor for the German economy. The university collaborates with businesses on a number of levels from project-specific engagements through research contracts to long-term strategic research alliances. TUM welcomes companies of all sizes interested in new technologies offering research opportunities.Strong partners from the business world provide the financial platform for research and teaching excellence. Donations, for example, fund new research centers, endowed university chairs and grant schemes for young scientists and students. In 2010, a number of companies and individuals founded the TUM University Foundation, a move that gives TUM much greater room to maneuver moving forward. TUM is working hand-in-hand with the business community to secure Germany’s future.
