The Munich Dual Career Office is now a member of the PARW/CC

26th June 2010: The Munich Dual Career Office has become a member of the “Professional Association of Resume Writers & Career Coaches” PARW/CC with its office in Florida. The membership and the advanced training of this organization were explicitly recommended by our colleagues of Dual Career Services in the US. We consider the resources provided by the organization just as well as helpful and beneficent for our activities. With regard to our further continuing professionalization we are looking forward to further developments and to the cooperation within the international framework.

 

Dual Career Network Germany (DCND) has been founded

10th June 2010: In the course of the first German wide network meeting of the Dual Career Services in June 2010 in Berlin (supported by the Fermtec GmbH, during the EAF - European Academy for Women in Politics and Business – conference “Karriere im Doppel”) the Dual Career Network Germany (DCND) has been founded. The aim of the DCND, which is organized as a cooperative forum, is the promotion of the further development and professionalization of the Dual Career Services throughout Germany. The Munich Dual Career Office was significantly involved in the preparation and foundation of the network by means of the participation in a core group of the German Career Services.

The next nationwide meeting of the DCND will take place in the run-up to the conference “Professional women careers – hurdle races in the partnerships and in the working world”, on Tuesday, 28th October 2010, in the new Excellence Center of the TU München on the Campus Garching. The experts of the German Dual Career Services will be forthcoming invited in writing to this conference as in the prior year. Within its activities, the DCND is planning the conception of a website, so that soon more information about the DCND can be obtained from the own website. Untill then, you are welcome to ask us for further information about the DCND.

 

Bio-Sketch-portal

08.03.2010: By now the MDCO provides all network partners with an encoded Bio-Sketch-portal. This provides insights into the qualifications of top level professionals which come to Munich as partners of highly-qualified scientists. We are pleased to present you top talents who will be available immediately or within a short time in scientific or economic fields by means of the new portal. We have several alternatives of network partnerships available. Please contact us if you are interested so that we can inform you about further details.

 

XING-group "Dual Career Life in Munich"

04.03.2010: Former and current users of the Munich Dual Career Office may exchange experiences from now on at a specially created XING-group for socializing and recommendations concerning  integration in Munich or in the community of highly qualified scientists. We hope to create synergy effects and ease mobility challenges. We are excited about your issues and subjects and the new pulses released! We also invite external interested scientists and partners who can contribute to Dual Career issues. Please read up here.
