Main campus will be closed on New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day
There will be no access to the buildings on the main campus from 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, to 9 a.m. on Sunday, January 1, 2012. The campus is out of bounds during this period. The TUM university board has drawn up this ruling in view of last year’s hooliganism. Should it be absolutely imperative for any member of staff to have access or be on the premises during this time, as part of the course of duty, the incumbent professor or head of department must notify Mr. Buchner, ZA 4 (buchner@zv.tum.de) in writing by December 20, 2011 at the latest. Mr. Buchner will accordingly issue a pass. The security firm has been given strict instructions to deny access to anybody without valid authorisation and to order any persons found on the premises to leave immediately.
